Fu Dragon Update


The body I started today, I'm liking the shape and muscle definition on the main part of the body. I'm still working on the legs and toes. Seeing the creature flesh out in 3D is incredibly rewarding, I'm happy about it!



On the head I started to polish the shape and proportions of the nose and chin, I also started polishing the first set of horns. The mane is going to be a separate mesh, same with the teeth I just have the basic shape for placement reference.

FuDragon WIP 1


Another personal project. This is the final concept that I decided worked really well.

An ancient immortal being of the forest, he wears the bells of time itself, The Protector of Seasons is what the lore names him. Some say you can still hear the soft ringing of bells when in the deepest part of the untamed forest, and only the luckiest ever see him.

I am having a lot of fun and this will be a challenging sculpt and texture piece.

Haven't been much up in a while.

Ok So, I haven't posted much, but I'm getting everything I worked on up.

In the meantime, this is a concept I painted of a character I'm going to model for a contest on PolyCount.com

"The idea is a portal opened into your world, and a luminous winged humanoid extends her had to you, beckoning to take you to another plane you've only ever dreamed about. Do you take her hand, and escape the dull familiarity of your world?"
